About this product

The Mountfield SP185 is a self-propelled petrol lawnmower designed for maintaining lawns with minimum effort, including those with slopes. It is built with a powder-coated steel chassis and a 46cm cutting width, and features a skid plate to help prevent scalping the lawn surface.

Powered by a 139cc petrol engine, this mower uses a recoil start and an autochoke system that automatically sets the choke for starting and running. It offers two cutting functions: collecting grass in the 60-litre container, or recycling the clippings back onto the lawn as a natural fertiliser using the supplied mulching plug.

The grass collector has a 60-litre capacity and includes an indicator to show when it is full. The mower is fitted with an ergonomic grip and has a 0.75-litre fuel tank. A mulching plug is included with the machine.
