Longevity Gardening provides the Longevity Gardening 24-Month Guarantee on every product bought through this website. For 24 months from delivery we will repair or replace, at our cost, any product that fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship. If we cannot repair or replace it, we will refund you.

1. Guarantee period

The Longevity Gardening 24-Month Guarantee applies for 24 months from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. It stays with the product: a later owner may claim under it for the remainder of the period.

2. What the guarantee covers

Defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal and intended domestic use of the product during the guarantee period. If a covered defect is confirmed, we will, in this order and subject to what is reasonable for the product:

  • repair the product, or supply a replacement component where that fixes it;
  • replace the product with the same or an equivalent model;
  • refund you, in full or in part, where repair or replacement is not possible.

3. What the guarantee does not cover

The guarantee does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear, or consumable parts such as blades, lines, belts, filters, spark plugs, batteries and bulbs, once worn through use;
  • damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, incorrect assembly, incorrect fuel or oil, lack of routine maintenance, or use contrary to the instructions;
  • damage caused by modification or by repair carried out by anyone we did not authorise;
  • commercial, hire or trade use, unless we agreed to it in writing before you ordered.
  • any other use outside the product’s intended application.

4. Suitability and specifications

Every product page lists the specifications that matter for the job — working width, capacity, power, weight — and what is included in the box. Please check them against your needs before ordering, and ask us if you are unsure: orders@longevitygardening.com or +44 744 026 0238. The guarantee does not cover a product that was clearly shown, in its listing, to be unsuitable for the use it was put to.

5. How to make a claim

To request help under the guarantee, contact us at orders@longevitygardening.com or +44 744 026 0238 (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (UK time)) with:

  • your order number;
  • the product name;
  • a description of the problem;
  • photographs or a short video showing the issue, where possible.

We may ask for more information to assess the claim. Once a covered defect is confirmed we will repair, replace or refund without unreasonable delay and without significant inconvenience to you, and we pay the cost of returning or collecting the product, including collection of large items.

6. Guarantee returns

Please do not send a product back for assessment before contacting us and receiving instructions. Approved returns under the guarantee go to Unit 6 Ash Road North, Wrexham Industrial Estate, Wrexham, Wales, LL13 9JT, United Kingdom; large machinery is collected. Petrol machinery must be drained of fuel and oil before it is sent or collected.

7. Own-brand and branded products

The Longevity Gardening 24-Month Guarantee is given by HOME & GARDEN BDG LTD, trading as Longevity Gardening. Products sold under our own name are made for us by manufacturers we source from; branded machines are sold new by us as an independent retailer, not as an authorised dealer for each maker. Either way the guarantee is our own undertaking: it covers everything we sell, it is separate from and does not limit any manufacturer’s warranty that may come with a branded product, and we deal with any claim ourselves rather than referring you to a manufacturer.

Third-party brand names, model numbers and trademarks that appear on this website remain the property of their owners and are used only to identify or describe products.

8. Your statutory rights

This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the right to reject a faulty product within 30 days of delivery and to a repair or replacement within six months — and does not replace or limit them. Those rights are summarised in section 9 of our Terms & Conditions.
