Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner – Iron/Nickel

The Dyson V8 Animal is a cordless stick vacuum in Iron/Nickel with purple accents, aimed at homes with pets. Compared with the earlier Dyson V6, it brings a more powerful motor, stronger suction and a longer-lasting battery, delivering up to 40 minutes of fade-free suction.

Its Direct-drive cleaner head delivers 150% more brush bar power than the Dyson V6 Plus, driving stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to dislodge ground-in dirt. The mini motorised tool applies the same stiff bristles to pet hair on furniture and in the car, the rigid crevice tool reaches along skirting boards and into narrow gaps, and the combination tool has a soft-bristled opening for dusting.

Whole-machine HEPA filtration traps allergens, so the air leaving the machine is cleaner. When the 0.54-litre bin is full, a hygienic dirt ejector empties it in one action at the push of a button.

The machine converts to a handheld for quick tidy-ups, and its balanced design makes floor-to-ceiling cleaning straightforward, from stairs to cobwebs. The docking station charges the vacuum and keeps the attachments organised. It weighs 2.55 kg.
